Living Room = Decompression Chamber

I have not been posting. I have been reading blogs, surfing the net, reading books and doing cross-stitch projects (don't ask - and don't worry I'm not turning all middle aged craftsy on you). I also finished my massage therapy website. Check it out. Call me for a massage. Refer clients to me. My massages will rock your world - in a non-sexual healing way.

Life has just taken too much from me lately and I needed a serious refill. Despite the cost of it. Gas at $2.40. Damn. And a big F U to all of the people who voted for Bush because you thought the oil monger would keep gas prices down. Idiots. (Oh yes, and I finally watched Napoleon Dynamite.)

The wedding shit has actually calmed down a bit, with only 10 days to go. My little sis will be in town a week from tomorrow with her new boyfriend Dean. I feel like I already know him, via the wonderous technology of the telephone, but it will be nice to converse with him in person and to give my sister one of those hugs where I lift her off the ground.

My back is hurting again, due to my admirable past lack of exercise. Last night I got a massage and I have been doing some isometric exercises which are helping. Along with ice and ibuprophen. Sonofa! I gotta get my doughy ass in shape.

In other news: looks like we're taking out a home equity line of credit, the "check engine" light on the car went off (hooray!!), and I may have a new babysitting job a couple days a week.

Life. It is okay.
