Soo. . . how about 2010, huh? I kind of feel bad for it already. Everyone has such high hopes. They say it will be so much better than 2009 and I am afraid it's going to disappoint us all, just like Obama. A new year simply can't live up to everyone's expectations. "I'm finally going to get a job!" "I won't get sick!" "I will be thin, and happy, and everyone will remember to take their meds!"
A New Year can mean a new slate, but usually it doesn't. It just means you need to buy a new calendar, unless you have one of those calendars for procrastinators that tacks an extra month or two on, just to give you some breathing room.
I hope I do get a new slate. I hope I use it well. I even jumped on the bandwagon and joined www.joesgoals.com where I listed my own. But even if I screw it all up, which of course, we all will to some extent, I will still be happy with the squiggles and doodles I make of 2010. After all, I have wonderful company along for the ride.
Happy New Year All.
