Thanksgiving

I love today. The menu Reade has posted on Facebook is amazing. We are so lucky to have such great hosts, who continue to call us family, no matter what we bring to the table. Reade and John are amazing, and their house is a warm haven of lovely music and ambiance. Spending time with them is always refreshing and a nice break from the hectic pace of every day life.

I have a lovely home, two boys who continuously challenge me, amuse me and constantly love me. A warm little cuddly rabbit of a dog who adores me and helps keep me warm during the long Minnesota winters. Stan and I both have fabulous jobs and are thankful for our employers and clients.

I have wonderful friends in my life. I love how I have found them, or they found me, in some of the most unlikely places: the park, a gas station, at work. My friends are my family, and I am fortunate to have them.

My sisters know me and are always there for me. I love them dearly.

This year has been challenging. It's been frustrating, exciting and most of all, exhausting. But I am the little engine that could, the tiny sapling who is willing herself into a strong and lovely tree (hopefully one with flowers).

Things are good and I am thankful. So very thankful!!!
