It's sad to log on to sites I've used to lose weight in the past and find that I would have reached my goal long before now if I would have just stuck with it. Ah, regret. She is a good friend of mine. But no longer!
My goal has been to make it to the gym three times a week. I've made that goal once in the last month. On the positive side, I am in the gym at least once a week, every week. That, my friends, is progress.
Stan and I both want to lose weight and eat healthier. So I have rejoined Weight Watchers on line. SparkPeople is good, but I like Weight Watchers better. The points program is more motivating, since you get extra points to use when you are more active. Did an hour or two of intense, back breaking housework? Now you can have a cookie! To put it succinctly, it's just plain easier and more enjoyable to use.
I have three months until our tentative trip to California. I would like to lose 10 pounds.
Off to the gym! I'm going to earn myself a cookie!

Here, here! Weight Watchers is a good program. I joined several months ago, just in time for the holiday feasting season. Swell!
So far I'm only down four+ pounds (aging turns your fat to concrete), but it's four pounds less than I weighed two months ago!
And I will prevail!!!! So will you!!! You go, my girl.
