A neighbor just rescued Dodi while she ran back and forth across Johnson Street and returned her. I am thinking again of enclosing the yard in chicken wire over Stan's protests.
If only we had a normal dimensional yard and could afford a real fence.
Now the question: what to give to the neighbors to say "thank you." Would a $5 gift certificate to someplace like Caribou Coffee be enough? Even if they don't drink coffee, they could get a tasty smoothie.

Wasn't Dodi on a leash? Did she just escape from the house?
She can open the screen door, unless it's locked. However, it's almost impossible to lock since Zach bent the hell out of it.
