This is the saddest disaster I have ever seen. It hits me harder than the tsunami because this is our country. This is New Orleans.
You can help. Even a minimum donation of $5 to the Red Cross or Salvation Army WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE. You can specify that you want it used for the victims in New Orleans and these are the two organizations that can get the money to the victims the fastest.
Stan and I have started with $100 and might be able to give even more. If everyone in the US gave at least $5 it would have a huge impact. So get off your ass and make a donation to help our fellow Americans who are dying. Ask your employers if they will match your contribution. Encourage your friends and family to give at least $5.
